My husband's ex-lady-collage is a member of the "genyuukai" calligraphy school.
We went to see The Exhibition of the school; for this exhibition, the master class member's works were exhibited not the learning class members.

She is standing by her work.
You can see some Yojijukugo; 四字熟語  (I've posted before) in their works.

*About the Chinese character '寿 kotobuki, ことぶき'*
This Chinese character originally means "cerebrate with words, 言祝(kotohogi, ことほぎ)".  This character is used for the "Envelope of Congratulatory Money", which we offer before the wedding ceremony starts. And put our names in the space under the lovely string. The string is called "水引き, mizuhiki". Recently, we have these varieties of lovely ones; right end has the original simple design.
