     Gates for Water with fence half an hour away from my home;

They are located very close to the brass band concert last Sunday. Thanks to Theresa's meme, otherwise I wouldn't have paid much attention to these various types of gates for water and thought about the importance of their roles. 

"floodgate, lock gate, water gate, etc";  I checked these with picture pages, maybe these two just be called water gate. These two types are lying alongside the bridge we past. As it was after the concert, our car stopped long enough for me to take pictures.

I thought these high pole things are mysterious；） So, I called the city office and had a kind answer. Long wire type things are inside the light green poles which are used to shut and open the gate under there. (Whum, maybe it must be a rare type gate...)
